Primary Objectives for Iowa’s Advancement
Common Questions
Will you restrict the use of eminent domain for carbon capture pipelines?
We do not support the use of eminent domain for the purpose of carbon pipelines in the state of Iowa. Not only does this require the seizure of Iowans' land, but it also inevitably introduces pollution into our soil, leaving landowners with contaminated land.
What is the stance on environmental protection and agriculture?
Iowa’s farmers are the stewards of our land. We support voluntary, incentive-based conservation programs that protect our soil and water quality while enhancing farm profitability. Additionally, we aim to solidify Iowa’s position as a national leader in renewable energy production.
What is your stance on Iowa's school voucher program.
Approximately $349 million in taxpayer dollars will be spent on private K-12 schools in Iowa for the 2025-2026 school year through the voucher program. This is money that is being directed away from the fiscal needs of our public schools. Iowa has always been known for the quality of its public schools, and it is this candidate's position that we must maintain this important resource through adequate funding.
How will the campaign engage with local communities?
Our campaign is built on listening. We are attending town halls in our district to hear directly from you. Through our regular digital updates, we ensure that every voice in Iowa has a clear channel to share their concerns and ideas for our collective future.
